We can offer our large on-site parking area for hire over weekends for a value for money fixed cost, which contributes in keeping the Centre sustainable.

Please note
The Old School Centre CIC cannot take responsibility for vehicles / property parked on-site and are left at the owner's risk - we do have a gate that can be closed at the entrance.

Parking on site is for authorised parking only for those who are attending The Old School Centre or have pre-arranged agreements, thank you.

Main Hall

Accepted Answer

We can offer the following options when booking our spacious main hall.

Standard rate: £25 per hour 
Minimum booking: 2 hours

However, we are happy to negotiate the cost for regular group bookings or if the Centre is in multi-use:

Regular Bookings (Weekly) 
The room can be offered at a reduced cost from the standard hourly rate per hour for regular weekly bookings as these sessions reserve the same slot each week, ensuring consistent use and supporting our ability to plan availability.

Regular Bookings (Monthly or Bi-Weekly) 
Monthly or bi‑weekly bookings are charged at a slightly higher rate per hour than weekly, as the room is unavailable for potential weekly users. However, the room can still be offered at a reduced cost from the standard hourly rate may be offered.

This pricing structure helps us balance fairness, accessibility, and sustainable use of the space.

10% Wellbeing Discount
12 month+ continuous bookings
For NEW community group providers we offer 10% introductory discount on the regular hourly rate for the first 3 months to enable the activity to become established.

Studio Room

We can offer the following options when booking our studio room

Whole Building Private Hire

A miniumum of 2 hours is required to book to make costs of heating the centre sustainable.

Minimum booking (2 hours):
£25 per hour

Morning Booking (9am-12:30pm)
£60 flat rate

Afternoon Booking (1pm-4pm)
£65 flat rate

Evening Booking (6pm-11pm)
£70 flat rate

Normal hourly rate is £25 per hour incluive of full kitchen, tea / coffee making, crockery, cutlery and cooking facilities, cafe style seating, WiFi, heating and utilities, toilets (plus accessible loos).

Kitchen & Cafe

Accepted Answer

Standard rate: £18 per hour
Minimum booking: 2 hours

This is to hire the kitchen's FULL cooking equipment with drink making facilities included, plus, the adjacent cafe style seating area.
